I made a short pixel art animation to be used on the YouTube channel of German gaming site Polygonien. It features a spaceship, an astronaut and the discovery of an ancient monument on a deserted planet.
Creating it was lots of fun and I learned a lot about sound design and animation beyond my usual tiny GIFs.

My friend and LAZA KNITEZ!! partner-in-crime Joon just published a beautiful and personable write up of A MAZE and the wonderful nature of indie games festivals. I was more than happy to contribute a few illustrations to accompany the article!
“I cannot think of a single place where I would be allowed to hack-speedrun a flash game in front of +200 people, host a workshop where we build game controllers out of buttons, cardboard and ducttape, have a game in an art exhibition and watch one of the punkest shows I’ve ever seen. That is exactly what happened at A-MAZE, and it’s only half of it. This writeup will be self-indulgent, oversharing and possibly lengthy. Be warned.”
A quick drawing of Oatis, a really cute robot that Timotheus Welman came up with. I really like this character, so I figured why not try and make my own version!
A few pictures I drew for illustration class last night. Our task was to come up with images to accompany the short horror story The Landlady by Roald Dahl.

Super Game Jam is an upcoming five-part documentary by Bram Ruiter, Daniel Oliveira Carneiro and Devolver Digital, portraying pairs of game makers and their attempts to create games within 48 hours. The series documents the magnificently messy process of coming up with a game in a very short amount of time and the interactions of developers who have never worked together before.
I’m thrilled to announce that I will be featured in Super Game Jam’s second episode along with Christoffer Hedborg (Shelter, Pid, Tru Luv)! Our episode was filmed at the end of January – it will be out on Steam in May, bundled with our game and access to all the other games and episodes.
For more info (and a glimpse at bits and pieces of our game!), visit the Super Game Jam website or watch this nice little announcement trailer:
